Celtic
Music for all Occasions
Celtic music cannot be encapsulated into a
single style. Just as the exodus of the Celtic people migrated across
the lands and oceans, they brought with them their culture and heritage,
influencing the local music with their own love of their ancestral home.
The rhythm of their language, the voices of their past, the spark of
their soul ignited and imbued the local music and in some cases,
generated new sounds. Traditionalist will stick to tunes from the
islands, loving re-created with fiddle, whistle, harp, and drum. But the
sound of the Celts is far richer. As time permits, we will continue to
expand and educate on these pages the sound of the Celts and make it the
universal sound of the world.
